Ott's Exotic Plants and Mail Pouch Barn - Monday October 12 - 9:30am-Lunch
Ott's Exotic Plants in Schwenksville is a botanical wonderland and plant nursery. Located about 20 miles/40 minutes north of Elkins Park, the large and beautiful greenhouses hold an exotic selection of plants. In autumn the big seasonal feature is a "mum mountain" with approximately ten thousand mums in vibrant colors accessed via pathways and tunnels.
Come join in this outing opportunity to photograph flowers, ferns, cacti and more.
We will also include the option to visit and photograph the iconic Mail Pouch Barn which is about 15 minutes from Ott's.
We will gather at Ott's at 9:30am. For those that want to photograph the Mail Pouch Barn, we will carpool there for a half-hour photo session before coming back to Ott's about 10:30am.
We will finish up with lunch at Moccia's Train Stop in Schwenksville, a few minutes from Ott's.
