Cemetery Tour of Philadelphia

NOTE: Outing postponed from original date of Sep 26 due to approaching Nor'easter storm.
Following along Frankford Ave we will visit four cemeteries with distinct characters and a variety of accompanying buildings, ending with lunch.
We start at Mount Sinai Cemetery at 9:30am
1901 Bridge Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124
There is a very narrow entrance on Bridge Street just before the intersection with Cottage Street. The building on the left as you pull in was designed by architect Frank Furness!
Next stop is the Emmanuel Resurrection Episcopal Church

Our third stop is Saint Dominic Catholic Church

Pull into the cemetery entrance just before the Church building.
Our final stop is All Saint's Torresdale

The church parking lot is located behind the church and can be accessed from Eden Street.
For lunch, it's a couple minutes over to Three Monkeys Cafe, "East Torresdale’s vibrant dining destination," for some of the best burgers around as well as salads, tacos, etc.
